Hakumei felt himself tense under the gaze of the green dragon as he worked on the fishing net in silence. She kept looking over the heads of the youngsters towards him every now and then. Silently he willed her look away. He didn't need to lose another dragon this late in life, it had be hard enough when Priath had died from the thread wounds he sustained while they'd still been in weyrling training. Satche noticed how uncomfroble he was and nosed his hand in attempt to reasure him still the dragonness kept turning her gaze on him.

Three days latter Hakumei found that the search dragon pair had returned to pick up those that had been searched and wished to stand. He watched as the potentials where loaded from the main door with Satche at his side. As he turned to leave to return to his deutys when wispy voice called out to him.

Why do you hide? The dragonlings would love you so... Hakumei turned and looked up at the green who had moved toward the doorway. Would you not even come to see the eggs before you chose to hide yourself away in this halflife young one? I am sure you lost bond would not wish you to stuffer so as you are now...

"I..." Hakumei sighed the dragoness made a good ponit, Priath wouldn't want him to suffer. Even if he went and decied not to stand living in the Weyr again was far more appealing then continuing living in the hold thing could be horribly dull at times. "Maybe just to look..."
