Midori of Shantai
Midori scratch Iroh under the chin the small flitter trilled in delight, Lantessama Isle was fascinating to her, the dragons where much smaller then the pernese she grown up around in Wu. Life hear was different though very much the same at times here. One thing she had noticed was that the dragons didn't seem to fade as quickly as those of pern when a rider was killed or simply severed the bond with the dragon.
Ryuki was one of those dragons she first met him on the beach where he seemed to enjoy mopping over the loss of his rider. At first he'd hardly acknowledge her existence but over time she'd built a friendship with the unique looking dragon. When she'd first come to Lantessama Isle she'd hope to stand at one of their many clutch over time. This had changed over the short time span she spent on the Isle, more Ryuki had. She found the concept of a small dragonling less appealing then deepening her bond with Ryuki. She'd heard how many had formed bond with those that had been left behind but would Ryuki be willing to do this? She slowly walked down the beach in the cold to ask, for she'd never know if she did not ask.
